i've received so many nice emails from all of you...thank you for all the positive comments...so many of you have commented that you too came to a fork in the road and had to make that hard decision of living your life or having your life live you.... yes, it is time to slow down to smell those roses...
i thought i'd answer some of the questions that i'm receiving - i know that 'i' know what i'm trying to say on my blog - but sometimes it doesn't come across clear to the reader - so i hope this helps with any questions that you may have had or be thinking....
i am not closing (nor dying - can't believe that's what hubby said he thought it sounded like when he read my blog) - i'm just cutting back on the number of pieces i will be doing a year...this is due to such a high demand of my artwork - i needed to slow things down...
i do have to work - i am not a trust fun baby, but a starving artist and i plan to stay that way...
you can order from me anytime - i will still be in the studio, making game boards as i always have...so that hasn't changed, just call or email me and you will be in my order book...
i will confirm your order when i receive it - but i will contact you again before i begin your pieces...that way you will know exactly when i am starting and when you will be receiving your pieces...
i will always be adding new designs - by spreading out orders over a longer period of time, i.e., 8 pieces a month vs. 30-40...this will give me more time in the studio to create new designs, whether gee's bend pieces, original designs or reproductions...
i plan to eventually have a monthly web site sale page: you will be emailed a notice when the sale begins and you will be able to buy the limited amount of pieces that are shown, immediately...and that will be nice for you...no waiting...
i hope this helps with some of the questions you were thinking...but let me know if you have more, and i will add them...thanks, diane
