well here we go again, i was repaid my loan from kiva.org....so my little one and i sat and looked at all the entrepreneurs that were requesting loans for their businesses, from all the way around the world. it is really amazing if you think about it, i can loan $25.00 to somebody in a country that i have never visited...i can loan money to people who have a dream and will become dream catchers in perhaps a matter of days - given this chance by others from around the world, with simply $25.00 at a time. today we decided to loan to Radwan in Lebanon, who is in auto repair....he needed some tools, and as an artist i myself know how important it is to have the tools that you need to do your job. so here's to you Radwan - work hard and have some peace of mind.
some days kiva doesn't have any loan requests for just one reason - the world is so generous in fulfilling loan requests....but today there are many asking for loans across the world...just this week alone over 19,000 loans have been made, over 1.5 million has been lent; a loan given every 12 seconds...WOW!
